7:30 AM on a Monday morning in New York: two hours before the market opens. I get an email with one table, and my portfolio for the coming week is in it: 10 stocks, how much of the portfolio each gets, and their stop levels. At the open my money goes to those same exact positions. Putting those by hand takes 30 minutes, one coffee, and then I have my week.
That email is Lionshare, a simple strategy to grow a stock portfolio. It has beaten the market since it launched in January 2026, and all the trades it makes are public. If you would rather see one than read about it, here it is as a table on August 24th for everyone to use. It shows positions I held before, but I still get a message exactly like this on every Monday morning.
A recap
Since January 12 2026 when I started with $30,000 of my own money on the trading platform Dub (all trades public, cannot edit my record) through October 9 2026 it is up 109%, while the broad market is up only 13%.
My goal is to grow the portfolio into $1M, one Monday at a time, in the open. Check the record for yourself.
What’s in the table?
Every week there is a list of 10 stocks, of which a few dominate. The weekend I have an algorithm that selects and scores the largest U.S. companies and updates this list. That’s all there is to it. When things go wrong for stocks the table has been in one fund outside the stock market, and that will be noted in the email.
What you get
Free: each weekend on Saturdays you get a review of the past week, where the result was and whether it lost or gained (which is written the same way in either case) Read one here.
Paid: $39 a month or $350 a year for the full table every Monday before the market opens: every single stock I own, with its weightage and stop loss, listed in full.
Subscribe free, and the next weekend review arrives on Saturday. You can cancel in one click.
What to expect?
You won’t see consistent growth. In testing this I had a few good weeks making most of what I won that year. Since starting the live portfolio in January 2026 I’ve had a 30% loss in both June and July 2026. How I test this is on the backtesting page.
Who it’s meant for
For someone who already trades (as in placing a trade in your own account) and who wants a full portfolio to copy (instead of an idea to research and possibly trade on your own). You can be wherever you like, just as long as you are able to trade US stocks. Everything in the table is a weight percentage, so the table should fit with every account size. With a broker that can take orders in dollar amounts this table works down from $1000 (at least I would expect, have not tested at a lower limit).
This is not for someone who needs advice, who needs help placing a trade, or who wants something that isnt volatile.
Why I built it
I’m an engineer with a day job. I picked stocks over the years, and subscribed to analysis services. There was a lot of good insight in those, but building my entire portfolio from it and then keeping up with all the possible things that might move it overtook my life to do. There was a time when I had nine indicators on a spreadsheet, and decided each morning which one I liked, then followed it. Then I built my own rules I could test, put my own money first, and let people watch my portfolio.
The whole long story is in the About section , every single detail on a Monday in the page How a Monday works, and the answers to anything else I think you might like to know are in the FAQ.
Lionshare is a publication, not financial advice. You decide what to do with your own money.
