What happened this week
The portfolio dropped for the first time in four weeks this week. It declined by the same amount as the market declined. This week was the last of the month of October so the portfolio closed the month.
This week Monday was the fifth in a row when the entire portfolio was invested in one fund which was not in the stock market. The conditions continued to be unfavorable for the stocks to do well so no trades were made at the market open or during the week. The fund dropped slightly over the course of the week while the market rose up until Wednesday but dropped on Friday. Both closed down 0.7% this week.
From a high level, the month was positive, as the portfolio increased 3.7% while the market decreased 1.0%, resulting in a 4.7 point lead.
Of course when the portfolio has a week down, the logical question is if the strategy is broken and what to fix. I prefer to continue the existing process week-to-week as no strategy is perfect and growth doesn't have to come week by week.

The record
My Dub portfolio is now worth $63,929, after I started it with $30,000 on Jan 12 and this week it declined by $447 from Monday's open. The entire portfolio is self funded and all trading history is publicly viewable on Dub.
Next Monday
This week is the fifth week that the system is invested in a single fund, and Monday's question is whether to continue for a sixth. The system analyzes the market one more time before the market opens to lock in the current list or revert to the full list of stocks.
The weekly recap above will always be free to share the results transparently, and the performance is publicly available on Dub. On Monday the system score about 2,000 US equity stocks to selects a new portfolio to hold for the week.
